Sternberger is a traditional K-5 elementary school that focuses on supporting the diverse needs of our students. Our students are World Changers, and work collaboratively with each other, staff, families, and the community every day to foster relationships and engage in academic challenges to excel in life.

Our mission statement states, "The stakeholders of the Sternberger Elementary School Community will work collaboratively to grow and educate independent, responsible, and diverse students who will be productive citizens of our global society."

Student Supports

At Sternberger, students are supported through a variety of ways, including Exceptional Children's (EC) supports, 504s and Academically Gifted Classes. Students also have available resources such as Speech & Language, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Social Emotional Learning supports. Researched based Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 supports are also implemented for students who require more intensive remediation.
