Celebrate Someone Special with a Book!

What:

The school's annual In Honor of You program allows you to honor a special person or event – a child’s birthday, a great report card, a graduating 5th grader, a favorite teacher, etc. – and add books to the library at the same time!  


Your donation helps fuel our students' curiosity and love of reading as they discover the new books!.  Other students and teachers will continue to benefit from the In Honor of You books that are added to the library collection, and as the years go on, the book will be a lasting remembrance of your student! 
 

When:

February 1, 2026 - March 1, 2026

 

How:

110% of the money donated will go to purchasing books for our school library.  That’s right – 110%!  Follett matches 10% of the donation total.

Ready to Support Sternberger Readers?

1. Donate

To donate, go to Follett’s secure site at: www.titlewish.com between February 1st and March 1st.  Use the FIND YOUR SCHOOL bar to access our school’s Titlewish site.  (Our site will not be accessible until February 1st.)


We suggest a minimum donation of $15 to $20, which is the average cost of a hardcover book. Follett accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.  
 

2. Dedicate

Complete the online dedication form. Include your name and email (in case of questions and to share updates), along with:

  1. The name of the person you are honoring (your student, favorite teacher, etc.)

  2. Who the In Honor of You donation is from (parents, caregivers, grandparents, etc.)

  3. The In Honor of You occasion (birthday, report card, "thank you," etc.)


3. Discover New Books!

The new library books usually arrive at the end of March or early April.  Students decide which new In Honor of You book is dedicated to the library in their honor.  A special label will be affixed inside the front cover, and the student will be the FIRST person to check out their donated book!
